The Vape Club Limited Shipping & Returns
Items sold by us on the thevapeclub.ie website are dispatched from Ireland to destinations within the EU. All orders placed, before 3pm will be dispatched that day. The Vape Club Limited only offer a warranty on faulty products.
The following procedure must be followed in order to carry out a warranty claim
Email to firstname.lastname@example.org informing us of the Order ID (or your full name) and a reference to the item in question
A copy of the returns form will be sent out to you. Please note that failure to fill out the returns form can result in a delay in processing any warranty items. Once the goods are received The Vape Club will test and inform you of the findings.
If the goods are found to be faulty then we will immediately ship out replacement items or apply store credit to the account holder or issue a refund.
Please allow 5 working days for accurate testing and a response. If you do not wish to wait for the warranty procedure to be carried out you may make an additional purchase for the replacement item. If the original item was found to be faulty after testing then a full refund will be issued. The warranty will be void if the returned goods have not been suitably maintained or kept clean and in good working order.
Your rights under Irish Law
Under Irish and EU law you have the right to return products you purchase within 14 days of receiving them. This is known as a cooling off period under The Distance Selling Regulations which gives consumers extra protection when buying online
If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the contract.
You need to contact us (preferably in writing or email) within the cooling off period to let us know you are going to return the items. You don’t have to give us a reason under law.
We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.
Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, within the 14-day cooling off period, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancellation.
What usually cannot be returned
There are some exceptions to this rule. For example in these following situations “The Distance Selling Act” does not cover returns:
- Goods cannot be returned because they were made according to your specifications or were personalised for you
- Goods are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
- The goods seals have been broken by you and cannot be returned for health protection and hygiene reason
E-liquids which are sealed for health & safety reasons cannot usually be refunded if returned. This is because they cannot be resold for safety reasons. Hence they don’t fall under your ‘right to cancel’ under The Distance Selling Regulations. However, if you have a problem with anything you purchase from The Vape Club, please get in contact and we’ll do our best to help you
